The Programs Committee organizes many fun and exciting program events for the Laguna Beach branch members each year. Details of upcoming programs can be found in the branch newsletter, Laguna Waves, and on the Calendar page of this website.

September 18 Membership Mixer. Join us to kick off the new year and learn about the programs and events planned for the year in a lovely Laguna Niguel home. Members and potential members are welcome to attend. Incoming LBHS principal and AAUW-LB member, Joanne Culverhouse, will speak on the topic of Women in Education. Returning Woman scholarship recipients will also speak.. See more . . .
October 5 Shirley Valentine. We have reserved a block of discount tickets at a reduced rate for the Laguna Playhouse production of Shirley Valentine. A reception for members will be held before the event in the playhouse patio.
October 22 100th Anniversary of Women's Suffrage in CA. This joint event with the Woman's Club of Laguna Beach will celebrate 100 years of voting rights for California women, including a presentation by branch member Dr. Kim Salter.
November 5 The Mabelline Story. Local author Sharrie Williams will discuss her book The Mabelline Story: And the Spirited Family Dynasty Behind It at Laguna Books. Refreshments.
December 4 Wine Tasting Special Event. Fifth annual event. Wines if Greece introduced by wine consultant, Ann Stephens. Proceeds will go to our scholarship fund.

A Christmas Memory, performance of Truman Capote's play A Christmas Memory and other Stories, at the Laguna Beach Woman's Club. Directed by Laguna Playhouse Director, Amy Larson.
January 8 International Affairs Salon.  The harrowing, thought-provoking video View From a Grain of Sand relating thirty years survival of Afghan women will be shown and discussed.
February 5 Women in Art: Career Artists & Those Who Became Artists after a Different Career. Some of the many artists in our branch members will discuss their journey to become artists and display examples of their work.
February 25 Legal Advocacy Luncheon. Annual interbranch event to benefit the LAF.
March 11 Spring Mixer. Informal wine and appetizer potluck/social. Enjoy a glass of wine and meet other branch members.
March 17 25th Anniversary Literary Luncheon - Laguna Beach Festival of Women Authors at the Surf & Sand Resort, Laguna Beach.
April 16 Cooking demo and dinner at the Sun Dried Tomato. Demo by celebrity chef Cathy Thomas.
May 12

45th Anniversary of Branch Charter. We will celebrate 45 years in Laguna Beach. Music, refreshments.

June Annual Installation of Officers. Installatio and Mixer. All members welcome!  Date TBA.
